Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Iran regarding Houthi actions. He stated that if the Houthis launch attacks again, the U.S. will hold Iran responsible.
Trump, in a social media statement, mentioned that a year ago, after attacks on ships, the U.S. conducted a strong military operation against the Houthis. Following this, the Houthis adopted a responsible attitude.
The U.S. President reported that last night, the Houthis fired upon two Saudi ships, which is being considered a concerning development.
He further stated that the Houthis are a proxy group of Iran, and in case of renewed attacks, a strong military response will be given.
It is noteworthy that Trump has expressed deep disappointment over the recent actions of the Houthis and has warned Iran of consequences.
