Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump has shared survey results showing a majority of Americans support a peace deal with Iran. The survey was released last month on the Truth Social platform.
According to the survey, 60% of American voters support a deal to end the conflict with Iran, while 23% oppose it and 15% have no opinion. The survey aimed to gauge public opinion.
Among potential American voters, 62% support the peace deal, 24% oppose it, and 13% have no opinion. These figures indicate growing support for the peace agreement.
The deal, brokered by President Trump’s administration, will open the Strait of Hormuz and initiate further talks on economic sanctions on Iran. Iran is also bound not to develop or acquire nuclear weapons.
It is noteworthy that the memorandum of understanding signed by President Trump allows two months for further discussions on Iran’s nuclear program.
