Quetta: (RightNow) The funeral for the 7 police officers martyred in the Ziarat incident was held at Ayub Stadium in Quetta. Political and tribal leaders, along with the families of the martyrs, attended in large numbers.

Provincial Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Lango, Provincial Minister Bakht Kakar, Provincial Minister Mir Asim Kurd Gello, Senator Manzoor Kakar, and other key figures participated in the funeral.

National Party’s Mir Kabir Muhammad Shahi, Awami National Party’s Asghar Khan Achakzai, PTI’s Dawood Shah Kakar, BNP’s Sajid Tareen Advocate, and other political leaders were also present.

DIG Police Quetta Imran and other senior police officers attended the funeral. Tributes were paid to the families of the martyrs on this occasion.

It is noteworthy that 7 police officers were martyred in the Ziarat incident, leading to a state of mourning in the city.
