Lahore: (RightNow) The Judicial Commission has released the schedule for appointing new judges and confirming additional judges in Pakistan’s five high courts. This schedule is expected to lead to significant judicial decisions.

According to the Judicial Commission, a meeting will be held on July 20 at 2 PM for the Sindh High Court. It will discuss the confirmation of two additional judges, the appointment of five new additional judges, and the extension of constitutional benches.

On the same day, at 3 PM, the Islamabad High Court will discuss the appointment of three new additional judges. At 4 PM, the Peshawar High Court will consider the confirmation of four additional judges as permanent judges.

On July 21, at 2 PM, the Lahore High Court will review the confirmation of one additional judge and the appointment of ten new additional judges. Later, at 3 PM, the Balochistan High Court will have an agenda for appointing five additional judges.

It is important to note that these Judicial Commission meetings are expected to result in key decisions regarding the appointment of judges, confirmation of additional judges, and the extension of constitutional benches in the Sindh High Court.
