Barcelona: (RightNow) Photos of Lionel Messi and Spain’s young star Lamine Yamal have resurfaced on social media. These images were taken in 2007 when six-month-old Yamal participated in an FC Barcelona photo shoot.

The photo shoot was part of a joint charity campaign by UNICEF and Barcelona. Yamal was selected through a lottery, and his mother was also present in the photos.

According to the photographer, Messi was 20 years old at the time and struggled to hold the baby due to his shy nature.

Nineteen years later, Lamine Yamal has emerged as a rising star in global football, while Messi is considered one of the greatest players in history.

It is noteworthy that on Sunday, the FIFA World Cup final will feature a match between Argentina and Spain, where Messi and Yamal will face off as opponents.
