Tehran: (RightNow) The US military claims to have completed a new wave of strikes on Iran. These attacks have further weakened Iran’s capability to target commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The US Central Command reported that the strikes lasted 90 minutes, starting at 7:30 AM local time and 3 PM Tehran time. The attacks targeted Iran’s coastal defense systems and cruise missile stockpiles.

CENTCOM stated on social media platform X that precision weapons were used during the attack on Greater Tunb Island. These strikes aimed to target Iran’s defensive strength.

According to the US military, these attacks have affected Iran’s ability to target commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. However, Iran has not officially responded to this claim.
