Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran has condemned US attacks on its soil, stating these actions have thwarted all diplomatic efforts. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the ceasefire agreement with the US, known as the Islamabad MoU, has been terminated.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei stated that Iran has never violated the agreement, while the US has repeatedly breached it. He mentioned that until the US fulfills its responsibilities, Iran will not adhere to the MoU.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry further stated that the US attacks are a blatant violation of the UN Charter and state sovereignty. Tehran claims these attacks pose a threat to regional and global peace.

According to the statement, the US Central Command has targeted Iranian military objectives to weaken Iran’s capability to target commercial ships.

It should be noted that tensions between the US and Iran could have profound impacts on global trade, energy markets, and diplomatic efforts.
