Bagher Ghalibaf stresses the importance of practical actions over promises, amid US-Iran deal changes.
Tehran: (Right Now News) Bagher Ghalibaf, head of the Iranian negotiation team, stated that promises and guarantees hold no value for them; practical actions are the true measure.
Ghalibaf further mentioned that until the other party takes practical steps, they will also refrain from any action. According to him, the real winner of any agreement is the one better prepared for conflict.
According to Iranian media, changes have been made to the US-Iran memorandum of understanding, but the draft is not yet finalized. It is clear that some actions will be taken according to the memorandum.
A British newspaper reported that President Trump has shared the Iran deal draft with allies. It includes proposals to open the Strait of Hormuz and release $12 billion in assets.
It should be noted that the Iranian President has instructed to expedite the arrangement of alternative import routes. Emphasis has been placed on utilizing trade routes with Pakistan, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
