Washington: (Right Now News) Pressure has been applied on the U.S. currency printing agency to create a new $250 note featuring President Donald Trump’s image.

According to an American newspaper, if this happens, it will be the first time in 150 years that a living person’s image will be published on U.S. currency.

Two Treasury Department officials, Brandon Beach and Mike Brown, have been urging the agency’s staff to prepare samples of the note.

Employees have expressed concerns, as current federal law only allows deceased individuals’ images to be printed on currency.

It is noteworthy that the design’s creator, British artist Ian Alexander, personally discussed this with President Trump.
