The U.S. awaits Iran’s response today, hoping for progress in negotiations.
Rome: (Right Now News) U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on Iran’s potential response, stating that a reply from Iran is expected today. He emphasized that the U.S. cannot allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and hopes for progress in negotiations with Tehran.
Marco Rubio revealed that the U.S. Navy has intercepted 70 tankers heading to Iran, while Iran seeks control over the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that control of international maritime routes by any single country is unacceptable.
The U.S. Secretary of State clarified that the attacks on Iran last night were not part of Operation ‘Epic Fury.’ He warned that any missile fired at the U.S. would be met with a strong response.
It is important to note that the U.S. will continue diplomatic efforts to resolve global conflicts. Marco Rubio mentioned that the U.S. is ready to mediate a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, but will not waste time if no practical progress is made.
Despite not receiving a response from Iran, Washington has not changed its stance on Taiwan and China. It is hoped that these issues will be discussed during the U.S. President’s visit to China.
