Islamabad: (Right Now News) A high-level Iranian delegation has arrived in Islamabad for US-Iran talks. The delegation’s aircraft is named ‘Minab 168,’ a tribute to children and teachers martyred in the recent conflict.

The leader of the Iranian delegation, Qalibaf, stated that the name commemorates the attack on Shajra Tayyiba Girls School in Minab, southern Iran, where over 168 students and teachers were killed. This attack occurred on February 28, the first day of US and Israeli assaults.

Sources indicate that Iranian civilian areas, educational institutions, and infrastructure have been under attack for 40 days. More than 800 schools and over 30 universities have been affected by these assaults.

The adoption of the ‘Minab 168’ name by the Iranian delegation is a tribute to the victims and a message to the global community that civilians bear the brunt of war. Images of the aircraft depict the human toll of the conflict.

It should be noted that the Iranian embassy in South Africa has also shared these images, expressing a commitment to remember the children. This symbolic strategy demonstrates Tehran’s seriousness in highlighting the war’s impact and seeking solutions through negotiations.
