Lahore: (RightNow) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has suspended Jhang Deputy Commissioner Babar Sahib Deen for using a protocol car illegally. This action was taken due to the car’s use in Saqib Chadhar’s protocol.

The Punjab Services and General Administration Department issued a notification on October 25, immediately suspending Babar Sahib Deen. He has been instructed to report to the Services and General Administration Department.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that the illegal use of a protocol car is a serious violation. She emphasized that the frivolous use of government resources contradicts policy.

This issue arises amid growing scrutiny over the use of government resources. Maryam Nawaz also discussed progress in children’s heart surgeries.

It is noteworthy that in 2024, upon taking office, there was a waiting list of 15,000 for children’s heart surgeries. To date, 16,173 successful operations have been conducted.
