Pakistan’s economy grows by 3.65% in 2026, reaching $450 billion, driven by agriculture, industry, and services.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan’s GDP growth rate is recorded at 3.65% for the fiscal year 2026. This is slightly below the estimated 3.70%.
According to the National Accounts Committee (NAC), the growth rates for agriculture, industry, and services sectors are 3.50%, 3.34%, and 3.81% respectively. Previously, these sectors were estimated to grow at 2.89%, 3.51%, and 4.09% respectively.
Authorities have revised estimates from fiscal years 2021 to 2025 and approved new estimates for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026-2025.
These figures are significant for the national economy as it reaches 126.4 trillion rupees, approximately $450 billion.
It is noteworthy that in the previous fiscal year, the economy’s size was 114.9 trillion rupees. The per capita income was 531,897 rupees, or $1,896.
