Islamabad: (RightNow) Rana Muhammad Hayat, a member of the National Assembly from the Pakistan Muslim League (N), criticized the government during the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Energy meeting. He stated that the load shedding is so severe that it’s difficult to face the public, and the bills are so high that living has become burdensome.

Rana Hayat mentioned in the committee meeting that when the minister cuts off the power from behind, what can the distribution companies do? It seems like we are working for the IMF instead of the country.

He further added that the farmers’ bills are so high that production and exports are being affected. If farmers are not allowed to rise, how will the GDP grow?

Following Rana Hayat’s expression of dissatisfaction with government policies, the committee decided to further deliberate on this issue.

It is noteworthy that the energy crisis and inflation are increasing public difficulties in the country, prompting concern from various political parties.
