Lahore: (RightNow) The Meteorological Department forecasts thunderstorms and rain in Punjab for the next five days. Rain continues in various cities, including Lahore, with intermittent showers in twin cities.

According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds in Lahore may further reduce the temperature. Currently, the city’s temperature is 27°C, which may rise to a maximum of 32°C.

The PDMA has issued a notice to the Deputy Commissioner regarding potential flooding in streams during heavy rain. District administration institutions have been advised to stay alert.

Residents are advised to stay away from rainwater channels, rivers, electric poles, and dilapidated buildings. The Meteorological Department also predicts intermittent rain next week.

It is noteworthy that the rain in Punjab has made the weather pleasant and reduced the intensity of heat. The ongoing rain is proving beneficial for residents.
