Balakot: (RightNow) A bus carrying Punjab University employees met with an accident near Balakot. The bus had 19 university employees on board.

A Punjab University spokesperson stated that there were no fatalities in the accident. Sixteen employees were injured and taken to Mansehra DHQ Hospital.

The driver reported that the bus lost control and fell into a ditch while trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle.

University administration mentioned that the employees were on a personal tour to Naran and Kaghan, and the injured are being cared for.

It is noteworthy that Punjab University’s transport wing often takes employees on recreational trips.
