Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump states Iran is in contact with the U.S. and seeks a deal. He is ready to listen to Iran.

Trump, at the Correspondents’ Dinner, mentioned the timing isn’t right for a deal, but negotiations remain open. He emphasized Iran will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.

Trump reported U.S. actions have weakened Iran’s military capabilities, nearly eliminating its naval and air power. Hundreds of planes, ships, and drones have been destroyed.

It is noteworthy that Trump previously stated in the Oval Office that Iran is serious about negotiations but not ready for a deal. He mentioned two options regarding Iran: continue attacks or make a deal.

Trump further added that Saudi Arabia should be part of the Abraham Accords. He also claimed China and Russia assured not to supply weapons to Iran.
