Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir inaugurated Pakistan’s largest data center, Sky 47. They were briefed on the significance of the data center during the event.

The briefing highlighted that Sky 47 Data Center provides a robust foundation for cloud computing, data hosting, and digital services. It is capable of meeting the needs of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.

In his address, the Prime Minister stated that this project is a significant step towards digital development in the country. He praised the leadership of the Field Marshal and the efforts of partner ZTE.

He further mentioned that projects like Sky 47 strengthen national security. It marks a crucial advancement towards providing the country with invincible security.

It is noteworthy that IT Minister Shaza Fatima also stated that the inauguration of Sky 47 Data Center marks the beginning of a new era of artificial intelligence in Pakistan, which will boost economic growth.
