Karachi: (RightNow) Sindh Education Department decides to introduce a facial recognition attendance system. This initiative aims to take action against absentee and allegedly fake degree employees.

According to department sources, thousands of pre-retirement applications have been received. These applications have caused financial issues for the finance division.

Information reveals that 15,000 teachers and non-teaching staff have submitted early retirement requests. This number has become a challenge for the education department.

This step is crucial to ensure employee attendance and improve management. The decision aims to promote transparency in the education system.

It is noteworthy that NAB has started verifying the degrees of employees recruited by the Sindh Education Department from 1989 to 2020.
