Muzaffarabad: (RightNow) The Azad Kashmir Election Commission announces general elections on July 27, 2026, across 45 constituencies.
A total of 846 candidates will participate, with 3.8 million registered voters, including 2 million men and 1.8 million women.
According to the Election Commission, 33 constituencies are in Azad Kashmir and 12 for refugees in Pakistan. There are 6,983 polling stations and 10,913 polling booths.
The Election Commission states that all necessary arrangements for peaceful, transparent, and fair elections are complete.
