Islamabad: (RightNow). Pakistan and China have decided to expedite the completion of an immigration agreement. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State Talal Chaudhry met with a delegation from the Chinese National Immigration Administration.

The delegation was led by Director General Qi Jingyang. Discussions focused on immigration, border management, and joint actions against illegal immigration. Both countries agreed to establish a joint working group for border security.

The Interior Minister stated that cooperation with China on land borders and seaports will be enhanced. A zero-tolerance policy has been adopted against illegal immigration and smuggling.

It is important to note that Pakistan and China are strategic partners committed to strengthening cooperation against border crimes. The Chinese delegation appreciated Pakistan’s efforts.

It should be remembered that the Chinese ambassador confirmed a training program for Pakistani police officers, and Chinese instructors are providing language training to Pakistani Special Protection Unit personnel.
