Rawalpindi: (RightNow) Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced an emergency power outage in various areas of Rawalpindi. This outage will occur on Friday morning, and consumers have been informed in advance.

IESCO’s spokesperson stated that due to safety work, power supply will be suspended on feeders connected to the 132 KV Satellite Town Grid Station.

According to the spokesperson, emergency maintenance and safety work will take place on the Tariq Shaheed feeder from 5:30 AM to 8:00 AM, requiring a shutdown.

This outage will affect feeders in areas including Shaheed Muhammad Din, Shamsabad, Sadiqabad, and Saidpur Road.

It is important to note that these measures are to provide safe and improved electricity to consumers, and power will be restored once the work is completed.
