Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran’s Foreign Ministry has accused the US of violating a memorandum of understanding. The ministry stated that recent actions in the past 24 hours are a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter.

Iran has also accused Washington of interfering with Iran’s operations through the Strait of Hormuz. It claims this interference has caused insecurity and disruption in international commercial shipping.

The ministry reported that only 25 days have passed since the war-ending agreement, yet the US has violated nearly all its terms. Attacks have been made on Iran’s transport, commercial shipping, and aviation facilities.

The ministry further stated that the US has used the land and facilities of countries on the southern Gulf coast to prepare for attacks on Iran. Neighboring countries have been warned not to allow their land to be used for military actions against Iran.

It is important to note that Iran has stated it does not seek war, but any attack source will be a legitimate target for defensive action by Iran’s forces. The ministry criticized the UN Secretary-General for siding with Washington.
