Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran has rejected US President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran requested to continue talks with the US.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry denied Trump’s statement, saying they did not request talks with the US, but accepted a visit from Qatari mediators.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that if the US violates any clause of the memorandum of understanding, Iran will respond in kind.

This issue is significant as Iran has made it clear that it is not requesting negotiations with the US.

It should be noted that US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran requested to continue talks, which he accepted.
