Islamabad: (Right Now News) The Foreign Office has termed India’s water aggression a threat to South Asia’s peace. The spokesperson stated that India’s irresponsible statements aim to divert attention from the situation in occupied Kashmir.

The spokesperson further mentioned that UN Security Council resolutions promise the right to self-determination to the people of Kashmir. According to them, Indian statements hold no legal standing. Pakistan rejects these statements and will take all necessary measures.

Following the Indian Water Minister’s statement, the Foreign Office said such actions would endanger regional peace. Pakistan clarified that India would be responsible for the arising situation, and Pakistan will take all necessary actions.

It should be noted that the Pakistani government is making all possible efforts for the release of Pakistani citizens held by Somali pirates. The Foreign Office is in contact with Somali authorities and the ship’s owner to ensure the citizens’ return.

Furthermore, Pakistan has emphasized the need for de-escalation and respect for ceasefire in the Middle East. Pakistan maintains that regional issues can only be resolved through diplomatic efforts and has always supported peaceful solutions.
