Pakistan Heatwave Forecast, Karachi Temperatures May Reach 43 Degrees

Islamabad: (Right Now News) The Meteorological Department has forecast a heatwave in most parts of the country from June 7 to June 12. Temperatures in Karachi are expected to reach between 40 to 43 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, high pressure is expected to form in the atmosphere on June 8, persisting until June 11. During this period, temperatures in Peshawar, Mardan, Bannu, and other districts could be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above normal.

The Meteorological Department has stated that temperatures in various districts of Punjab could reach 44 to 48 degrees Celsius. Districts in Sindh and Balochistan are also likely to experience above-normal temperatures.

This heatwave could pose a threat to public health. The Meteorological Department has advised the public to take precautionary measures to mitigate the effects of the heatwave.

It is noteworthy that during the heatwave, dusty winds and storms are also expected, which could create further challenges in some areas of southern Punjab and Sindh.
