Karachi: (Right Now News) Somali pirates have hijacked the oil tanker Honour 25 near Somalia, taking over 10 Pakistani crew members hostage. Among them are individuals from Karachi.

The families of the hostages have urgently appealed to the government for help. They express deep concern and hope for government assistance.

Shipping sources report that the pirates attacked the ship on April 21. The vessel was en route from Oman to Fujairah when it was seized.

Affected families state that communication has been cut off since the hijacking. No assistance has been received from the government yet. The Governor of Sindh has assured support.

It is noteworthy that the hostages include Ameen Shams, Syed Kashif, Imran, and Hussain, whose children await their return.
