In a statement on social media platform X, Schumer stated that Trump’s war must end immediately, as prolonged conflict will worsen the situation.

He further added that this devastating war is escalating daily, and we are sinking deeper into it.

Tagging Trump, Schumer said the war has weakened America’s economy, military readiness, and national security.

It should be noted that the Iranian navy has seized ships, threatening the security arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz.
