Iran halted two ships in the Strait of Hormuz as a response to the U.S. seizing an Iranian tanker.
Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran has halted two ships in the Strait of Hormuz for violating regulations. This action was taken in response to the seizure of an Iranian tanker.
Iranian parliament member, Ebrahim Rezaei, stated without naming the U.S. that a policy of ‘an eye for an eye, a tanker for a tanker’ will be adopted.
He posted on social media that they will not remain silent against the ‘pirates of the sea’ and this game will not end in their victory.
It is important to note that the U.S. had seized an Iran-linked ship in the Strait of Hormuz, prompting Iran to detain two ships.
Remember that the ceasefire between Iran and the U.S., mediated by Pakistan, ends today. Iran refused to participate in talks with the U.S. due to ceasefire violations.
