Tehran: (Right Now News) Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has warned that the Strait of Hormuz cannot reopen if the maritime blockade and aggression continue. He stated that a complete ceasefire would only be meaningful if these actions cease.

He mentioned that despite open violations of the ceasefire, reopening the Strait of Hormuz is not possible. Qalibaf clarified that under such circumstances, the concept of a complete ceasefire becomes meaningless.

Qalibaf further stated that opponents cannot achieve their goals through military aggression. He emphasized that success cannot be attained through pressure or threats, and the only way forward is to respect Iranian rights.

This statement comes at a time when diplomatic tensions over the ceasefire, maritime blockade, and restoration of the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing in the region.

It is noteworthy that the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most crucial oil passageways, and its closure impacts the global economy.
