Islamabad: (Right Now News) Pakistan is currently facing a severe health crisis, with a significant increase in HIV/AIDS cases. Nationwide, 108,400 AIDS cases have been reported.

AIDS is considered a silent enemy, often showing no symptoms but spreading rapidly. Health experts and authorities are striving to curb this epidemic.

Punjab has the highest number of AIDS patients, with 45,000 individuals affected. Lahore is the most impacted city, reporting over 10,000 cases.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of AIDS patients has reached 39,702, while Sindh has 15,639 affected individuals. The number of cases is rising in these regions.

It is noteworthy that unsafe medical practices, reuse of syringes, and other factors are contributing to the increase in AIDS cases. Experts have warned that reported cases may only represent a fraction of the actual number.
