Islamabad: (Right Now News) Another round of talks between the US and Iran is expected soon in Islamabad. According to Reuters, US and Iranian delegations may return to Islamabad this week for peace negotiations.

An official from the Iranian embassy in Pakistan told Reuters that the talks could begin early next week. Previously, the American news agency reported that Pakistan had offered to host the second phase of negotiations between the US and Iran.

According to the American news agency, the US-Iran talks might take place in Islamabad on Thursday. US Vice President JD Vance thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and military officials for Pakistan’s mediation.

JD Vance stated that Pakistan demonstrated diplomatic skills in mediating between the two countries, which had not engaged in talks for a long time. It is expected that Iran will take steps to open the Strait of Hormuz, crucial for global energy supply.

It should be noted that Pakistan proposed holding the talks in Islamabad before the ceasefire period ends.
