Islamabad: (Right Now News) The special plane carrying the US Vice President, who is visiting Pakistan for ceasefire talks with Iran, arrived in Islamabad 3.5 hours later than scheduled.

The US delegation was expected to land in Islamabad at 7 AM, but the flight was delayed. Aviation experts stated that the plane was to make a stopover and reach its destination from the US in 15 hours.

The plane departed from Camp Spring Base in Maryland at 5:47 PM Pakistani time and 8:47 AM US time. The C-32A aircraft completed a 14-hour and 20-minute journey to Islamabad, including a 2.5-hour stop in Paris.

The aircraft bypassed the airspace of Middle Eastern countries, traveling through Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan, reaching Tajikistan. It avoided Afghanistan’s extensive airspace before entering Pakistani airspace.

It is noteworthy that the US plane received a warm welcome upon entering Pakistani airspace and landed at Nur Khan Airbase at 10:33 PM.
