Karachi: (Right Now News) Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has announced that the new academic year in the province will commence on April 1.

He stated that the academic year will begin across the province following the decision of the steering committee. Additionally, it has been decided to have two holidays per week.

The Sindh Education Department has declared Saturday and Sunday as school holidays under austerity measures. This decision will remain in effect until further government orders.

This step aims to reduce administrative costs in educational institutions. The Education Minister also extended best wishes to teachers, students, and parents.

It is noteworthy that with the start of the academic year in Sindh, the government has taken austerity measures to improve the quality of education.
