London: (Right Now News) UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has announced that British forces will not participate in the US ground offensive in Iran.

He stated that the Iran conflict is not the UK’s war, and they will not engage in it. The UK will focus on defensive measures.

The Prime Minister mentioned that efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing, and British pilots have been deployed in the air.

He further stated that the UK will defend its citizens and interests and will work with international allies.

It should be noted that the proposals sent to Iran were deemed unrealistic by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, while Marco Rubio has threatened Iran with severe consequences if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
