The U.S. Treasury announced $100 bills with Trump’s signature will be released in June.
Washington: (Right Now News) The U.S. Treasury Department has announced the release of currency notes featuring Donald Trump’s signature. The new $100 bills will be available this June.
These notes will be the first in U.S. history to bear a president’s signature, previously only the Treasury Secretary’s signature appeared. Despite Trump’s declining popularity, this step has been taken.
This is the latest effort to inscribe Trump’s name on American cultural institutions, including the U.S. Institute of Peace and the Kennedy Center.
Additionally, Trump is attempting to feature his face on a coin. The Federal Arts Commission has approved the design of a 24-carat gold coin featuring his image.
It should be noted that the purpose of adding Trump’s signature to the dollars is to honor the nation’s 250th anniversary. Treasury Secretary Scott Basant’s signature will also be present.
