Islamabad: (RightNow) Maldives President will visit Pakistan on October 20. The Foreign Ministry states the visit will continue until October 22, with several important agreements expected.

The Maldives President will visit Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Accompanying him will be the First Lady, cabinet ministers, and senior officials.

President Mohamed Muizzu will meet with President Arif Alvi during his visit. He will also hold limited-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders will discuss bilateral relations and global issues. A Pakistan-Maldives Business Forum will also be held.

It is noteworthy that this is the first official visit by a Maldives President to Pakistan in eleven years.
