Peshawar: (RightNow) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi addressed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Apex Committee, assuring the public not to panic during tough times and promising provincial development.

The meeting was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Peshawar Corps Commander, Chief Secretary, and other officials. They reviewed security and terrorism threats.

Naqvi stated that federal and provincial governments are united and on the same page in the fight against terrorism. He emphasized the need to strengthen police and law enforcement agencies.

It is clear that after the imposition of emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, administrative changes were announced, including the formation of an advisory council and military deployment.

It should be noted that the previous government was accused of failing to take effective measures against terrorism. The Apex Committee aims to improve security and ensure the implementation of the National Action Plan.
