Karachi: (RightNow) The FIA offloaded three women at Jinnah International Airport. The women, including two sisters and their mother, were heading to the UAE.

The FIA spokesperson stated that during the investigation, travel documents raised concerns of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor girl. The girl claimed to be 16 to 17 years old and alleged she was being taken for sexual activities.

Initial checks revealed WhatsApp messages on the mother’s phone with an alleged agent, Haris. These messages included discussions on visas, tickets, and financial details. The FIA has launched further investigations into the matter.

According to the spokesperson, a bank transaction receipt of 4 lakh rupees was also recovered. Forensic investigations are needed to assess the connections and financial ties with the agent.

It is important to note that the FIA is cracking down on human trafficking and handing over suspects to anti-human trafficking authorities for legal action.
