Islamabad: (RightNow) The federal government has equipped law enforcement agencies with the latest technology in anticipation of a potential protest. Officials state these preparations are made if PTI workers head towards the federal capital.

A senior official has revealed that approximately 38,000 officers have been deployed this time. He noted that during the previous PTI march, fewer than 20,000 officers were present, making this deployment more than double.

The official further mentioned that officers have more autonomy and are equipped with the latest devices. He referred to incidents on November 26, 2024, and October 12, 2025.

He stated that there is a significant increase in both the number of officers and the provision of equipment. These measures aim to maintain law and order during any potential protest.

It is worth noting that during previous events, law enforcement faced severe challenges, leading to an increase in their resources.
