Islamabad: (RightNow) PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has dismissed Mohsin Naqvi’s allegations against Suhail Afridi for sabotaging talks. He stated that blaming Suhail Afridi raises questions about the government’s intentions.

Salman Akram mentioned that the government’s request to impose an emergency in 5 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was rejected within 72 hours. He further explained that 99% of the matters were agreed upon, but the government made changes to the draft.

He emphasized that Suhail Afridi and his views were not different, and it was inappropriate for the government to insist on legal procedures regarding the founder’s treatment. Salman Akram stated that the founder’s treatment should be according to his wishes.

Salman Akram accused the government of not being willing to adopt a consultative and consensual approach in the talks. He alleged that the government did not want the negotiations to succeed.

It is noteworthy that in a press conference in Lahore, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi attempted to sabotage the talks.
