Peshawar: (RightNow) Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Ameer Maqam, states that the imposition of Governor Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not a good decision due to the absence of a government. He emphasizes that they do not want to go to the extreme.

Ameer Maqam, along with party leaders Zahid Khan and Samar Bilour, expressed disappointment over the failure of negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during a press conference. He mentioned that the draft agreement was altered 4 times, hindering progress.

The Federal Minister revealed that while government and opposition negotiations were ongoing, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued to announce long marches. He noted that the current situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is tense.

Ameer Maqam criticized the Chief Minister for engaging in protest politics and leaving the province neglected. He urged all political parties in the province to unite for resolving issues.

It is noteworthy that terrorist incidents are increasing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing severe difficulties for the public. Ameer Maqam insists that everyone should work together to establish peace and order in the province.
