Seoul: (RightNow) A study in South Korea reveals that individuals facing difficulties in daily tasks have double the risk of early death. The study included over 6,000 participants.

Data was collected from individuals aged 45 and above between 2006 and 2014. Participants were asked about their need for assistance in 10 daily tasks.

Researchers found that those struggling with routine tasks have twice the risk of death. Additionally, the likelihood of depression and other diseases increases.

The study indicates that physical weakness or illnesses causing difficulties in daily tasks elevate the risk of premature death.

It is noteworthy that this research was published in the journal Gero Science, and researchers emphasize the need for further studies to determine the cause.
