Denmark: (RightNow) A study by Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark reveals an increased cancer risk in Type 2 diabetes patients. The research indicates a rise in cancer cases among diabetic individuals over the past 25 years.

According to the study, from 2010 to 2022, cancer rates increased by 12% in diabetic men and 22% in women. Between 1996 and 2009, these rates were 9% for men and 15% for women.

Experts state that obesity-related cancers are becoming more common among diabetic patients, emphasizing the need for early diagnosis measures.

This research is significant as it highlights the growing cancer prevalence among diabetic individuals, stressing the importance of cancer prevention and early detection.

Previously, studies have also indicated a rising cancer risk in young individuals, influenced by genetic factors, lifestyle, and other elements.
