Islamabad: (RightNow). The government announces a reduction in petroleum prices. Petrol price decreases by Rs 1.93 per liter, setting the new price at Rs 390.12.

Diesel price drops by Rs 4.21 per liter, with the new price at Rs 414.75 per liter.

These new prices take effect from September 24. Officials state this will provide some relief to the public.

The price reduction aims to alleviate inflation pressure on citizens. This decision is made for public convenience.

It is noteworthy that petroleum prices were also reduced yesterday. Diesel price fell from Rs 422.08 to Rs 418.96 per liter.
