Hackers attacked Manchester, Stansted, and East Midlands airports. They obtained emails, phone numbers, and vehicle registration numbers.

Manchester Airports Group stated that hackers demanded ransom. However, the company refused to pay the amount.

This attack has raised serious concerns about data security. Passenger safety or aviation security has not been affected.

It is noteworthy that the company took immediate action upon learning of the attack on Tuesday. Further access by hackers was blocked, and affected users were notified.
