Tehran: (RightNow) Field Marshal Asim Munir’s significant visit to Iran is underway. During this visit, he met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss regional issues in detail.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also met with Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. Rezaei expressed distrust towards the US and emphasized Iran’s security control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Field Marshal Asim Munir held discussions with Iranian Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. The Iranian Speaker stated that the US failed to uphold the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, while the Field Marshal reiterated efforts for regional peace and stability.

Iranian Speaker Bagher Ghalibaf further mentioned new reasons for Iran’s distrust towards Washington, expressing expectations for the US to fulfill its responsibilities.
