Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan announces costs for Hajj 2027, with pilgrims under the government scheme required to pay approximately 1.3 million rupees.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, stated in a press conference that the application process will begin on August 17 through a digital system. Approval for Hajj registration was granted on June 22.

The government has allocated a quota of 107,526 pilgrims under the official Hajj scheme. The pilgrimage will last 40 days, with each pilgrim paying 1.2 million rupees.

The short-duration Hajj scheme will cost 1.3 million rupees per pilgrim, with a quota of 30,000 pilgrims assigned to this scheme.

It is noteworthy that the government has fully digitized the system for Hajj 2027. Applications will now be submitted and payments made online through Hajj applications.
