Tehran: (RightNow) Key initiatives for promoting cricket in Iran with Pakistan’s support have been announced. The Asian Cricket Council and PCB will provide practical assistance for the sport’s development in Iran.
The decision was made during a meeting between Pakistan-Iran Cricket Association President Hussain Mokhtari and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The meeting discussed strengthening cricket relations.
Sources indicate a focus on cooperation in technical areas of cricket, training of coaches and umpires, and enhancing players’ skills.
Efforts to accelerate cricket development in Iran are being emphasized with the cooperation of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Asian Cricket Council. This will improve the quality of cricket in Iran.
