Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan and India have started issuing assignment visas for diplomatic staff. Under this initiative, both countries have granted visas to diplomats and staff awaiting deployment.

Sources reveal that approximately a dozen assignment visas have been issued by each country. These visas include diplomats whose terms have ended and newly appointed diplomats.
